Frogs in the League: Week 6

Week six of the NFL season was a lot of what we have become accustomed to. The Cowboys lost, the Seahawks pulled off another upset, the Packers are back to ballin, and the former Frogs continue to do big things. Here is a recap of the week that was in the National Football League.

Marcus Cannon, OL, Patriots: (Patriots-23 Seahawks-24)- No update.

Tank Carder, LB, Browns: (Bengals-24 Browns-34)- Tank recorded no tackles in the Browns win.

Andy Dalton, QB, Bengals: (Bengals-24 Browns-34)- The Red Rifle racked up a lot of yards against the Browns, but he also made some mistakes. Dalton was 31-46 for 381 yards, 3 TD’s, but also threw 3 interceptions as well. Cincinnati is now 3-3 on the season.

Clint Gresham, Long Snapper, Seahawks: (Patriots-23 Seahawks-24)- No update although the punter did have problems handling one snap.

David Hawthorne, LB, Saints: Bye week.

Jerry Hughes, LB, Colts: (Colts-9 Jets- 35)- Jerry Hughes made his third start of the season and had a career high 8 tackles and 1 sack in the Colts loss to the Jets. This is by far Hughes’ best game as a pro. IndyStar.com says Hughes was one of the few bright spots for Indianapolis.

Colin Jones, S, Panthers: Bye week.

Jeremy Kerley, WR, Jets: (Colts-9 Jets- 35)-Kerley was targeted 6 times and came up with 3 receptions for 24 yards. Kerley has 18 receptions for 315 yards this season.

Marshall Newhouse, OL, Packers: (Packers-42 Texans-24)- Marshall Newhouse yielded just one hurry to OLB Connor Barwin. It came on an inside move and cost Newhouse a penalty for holding.

Jason Phillips, LB, Panthers: Bye week.

Daryl Washington, LB, Cardinals: (Bills-19 Cardinals-16)- Washington led the Cardinals in tackles with 14, 12 of them being solo. Washington is tied for 9th in total tackles for the season with 53.
