Patterson is a 1983 graduate of K-State and a former safety and linebacker for the Wildcats.*TCU has a three-game winning streak versus teams ranked in the top five and is also 4-1 in its last five games against top-five opponents. The Frogs won 36-35 at No. 5 Boise State last season. In the 2010 campaign, TCU won 47-7 at No. 5 Utah while recording a 21-19 victory over No. 5 Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl.
