Jeff Metcalfe, a reporter covering Arizona college sports for AZCentral Sports and The Arizona Republic, has tweeted out that TCU will likely be selected by the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl in Tempe, Arizona (Arizona State Stadium) to face off against Michigan State. The other likely destination for the Frogs, the Meineke Car Care Bowl (Houston, Texas), picks after the BWWB and is believed to favor TCU as well, but it appears the Frogs will no longer be on the board to be selected.

The selection would be a better financial decision for TCU, as the BWWB pays out roughly $3.5 Million to each team, substantially more than the approximately $1.5 Million payed out by the MCCB.

The official announcement will be made at 7:30pm CST tonight on ESPN.

The BWWB is played on December 29th at 9:15 CST (8:15 local time) on ESPN at Sun Devil Stadium, the home of the Arizona State Sun Devils.
