TCU hits the road to renew yet another old conference rivalry- this time with a team we oldsters remember well.
The BasketFrogs head down to Houston today to take on our old Southwest conference nemesis the Rice Owls in just the second true road test of the year for the frogs. This former conference mate is a bit more venerable than Tulsa or even Houston though, as TCU has been playing Rice in basketball for 98 years now. And there are few teams that I enjoy beating more. The Owls have had a rough road so far this season, collecting only three wins on the season so far, most recently eeking out a win over Chicago State on Wednesday. Still, the owls will be hungry in trying to pick up their first back to back wins of the season, while TCU is hoping to rack up another win or two before conference play picks up in January. This is your gamethread.
