TCU freshman infielder Derek Odell has been named Mountain West Hitter of the Week for his performance in four games last week. The honor is the first of his career and the fifth of the season for the Horned Frogs.

TCU received an at-large selection Monday to the NCAA Regional Men's Golf Championships for its 23rd consecutive postseason appearance. The Horned Frogs will be heading to the University of Michigan Golf Course in Ann Arbor, Mich., May 17-19 to compete as the No. 8 seed among a 13-team field.
