Texas Tech rolls into Daniel Meyer tonight to kick off conference play for both the Frogs and the Raiders, but don't let the fact that this is just the beginning of a long conference schedule belie the importance of this game. This is by far TCU's best shot at a Big 12 win with the injuries we've suffered so far, as Texas Tech is a team who revolted under the iron (and possibly abusive) grip of Billy Gillespie and wasn't expected to be a good one this year. Since it's at Daniel Meyer it will be one of the few games this season that won't be considered a major upset if TCU wins. Get out there and cheer, and let's kick off the Big 12 basketball era with a bang. This is your gamethread.
