The TCU men's basketball team starts a six game homestand on Sunday afternoon when they face off against Texas-Pan American. The 5-3 Frogs will be playing for the first time in 10 days, after defeating Mississippi State in the Big 12/SEC Challenge 71-61.

Texas-Pan American is 4-7 on the season, and is currently on a three game losing streak at the hands of Bradley, SIU-Edwardsville and UT-San Antonio. Led by senior Javorn Farrell, the Broncs are averaging 67.1 points per game.

Sophomore Charles Hill Jr. is coming off of a career high 20 point game against Mississippi State, and freshman Karviar Shepherd pulled down a career high 16 boards, as both look to lead the youth movement on the TCU basketball team. Shepherd's effort on the glass was the third highest rebounding game for a freshman this season in the NCAA.

TCU leads the all-time series against UTPA 5-1, including a 30 point drubbing two years ago.

The Frogs take on Grambling State (Dec. 19), Tulsa (Dec. 21) and Texas State (Dec. 29) in their next three matchups before beginning the new year playing host to West Virginia (Jan. 4) and Kansas State (Jan. 7) to open Big 12 Conference play.
