Preston Morrison pitched eight scoreless innings, and TCU exploded behind with seven runs in the sixth inning, including a grand slam from Jantzen Witte.
Preston Morrison got back on track:
8 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 3 K
The lineup was productive, especially with RISP:
Boomer White had the first HR... Witte followed with the first slam.
Cody Jones got on base three times, and got a SB.
Fitzgerald had a couple hits.
But, Cron continues to struggle.
Tomorrow, I am not worried about the offense... I want to see Alex Young pace himself well, pitch to the mit, and get TCU its first series win of 2013.
Today was a good day.
