The game between the Horned Frogs and the Red Raiders has been moved to Thursday, September 12.

It's just been announced that TCU's 2013 Big 12 conference opener in Lubbock, TX against the Texas Tech Red Raiders has been moved to Thursday, September 12th.

According to gofrogs.com the game will be televised by either Fox Sports or ESPN.

TCU has played in several weekday games over the past few years, and has had a little success. Since 2008, the Frogs are 4-2 on games played on Thursday and Friday nights, with wins coming against Texas, SMU and BYU (2), with losses against Baylor and Utah.

Last season, Texas Tech and TCU played a 3 overtime thriller that saw the Frogs eventually fall to the Red Raiders, starting year of insufferable taunts from my Red Raider wife.

This should change a lot of travel plans for Frog fans who were expecting to go out to Lubbock for the game (including myself and the frau).

Frog fans (and DFW Techies), are you still planning on making the trek?
