Maybe it's having baseball gamethreads that's the problem? Possibly, but more likely Preston Morrison is awesome enough that the frogs can win in spite of their miserable offensive production. Knowing that the slightest mishap could cost the Frogs, Morrison went spread 8 hits through 8 1/3 innings and kept Oklahoma State off the board entirely. In the third, fourth and sixth Morrison flirted with disaster as the Cowboys got multiple men on, but every time he managed to solve the problem without giving up a run- which proved vital. The Frog offense was again nothing to write home about, getting two runs on five hits, but they showed decent plate awareness in collecting four walks off of Hurst.
A good start to the weekend, but sadly Preston can only pitch once- the Frog offense is going to have to pick it up to take the series from the #22 Cowboys.
