TCU Lands Its Seventh Commit, DB Nick Orr From Desoto

"This is my level Bob.... Get on my level." - US PRESSWIRE

The third commit and three weeks for TCU Football is a good one, a stud on and off the field for Desoto with legacy roots at the University of Texas and an NFL pedigree. Despite the noise, Orr says he is solidly committed to the Horned Frogs.

The Horned Frog Blitz guys broke the news:

Orr gave his verbal to head coach Gary Patterson while on campus for an unofficial visit, selecting TCU over offers from Texas Tech, Baylor, Oklahoma State and Missouri, among others.

"Coach Patterson and I, we had a great talk. He showed me around and after that, I told him I wanted to commit," said Orr. "He is just a championship-type coach. They have great facilities and they win. They were good this past year and I think they'll be even better this year."

Sounds like a winner.
