The TCU baseball team returns home Friday night to play host to Dartmouth in a three-game series. The series opener is slated for 6:30 at Lupton Stadium.

TCU NOTABLES
• TCU suffered a 5-0 setback Tuesday night at No. 15 Rice, giving it three losses in the last four games.
• After starting the season 6-1, TCU is just 3-6 in its last eight games.
Ryan Burnett pitched a career-high three scoreless innings Tuesday night in just his second collegiate outing.
Brandon Finnegan leads the nation with 45 strikeouts. He has a four-strikeout lead over his nearest competitor, Matt Imhof of Cal Poly.
Boomer White and Kevin Cron have reached base safely in all 16 games played this season.
• White has a team-leading seven game hitting streak.
• TCU leads the league with 148 strikeouts. 
Brandon Finnegan posted double-digit strikeouts for the third time this season, fanning 12 on Friday.
Cody Jones recorded his nation-leading 12th stolen base over the weekend.
• TCU is third in the league with 28 stolen bases on the season.

DARTMOUTH NOTABLES
• The Big Green will be playing just its second series this season.
• Dartmouth went 1-2 in its only series this season at Florida International.
• Dartmouth is tied for the second fewest games in Division I baseball this season. Fellow Ivy League member Brown has played just three games this year. Central Connecticut State has played just one game this season.
• Dartmouth allowed 11 runs in each of the two losses.
• Jeff Keller got off to the best start of the season with seven hits in the first three games for a .538 batting average.
• Keller has four of Dartmouth's six doubles on the season.
• Beau Sulser and Michael Danielak combined to pitch the Big Green to its lone win of the season. • Three Big Green errors have led to five unearned runs.

SERIES NOTABLES
• TCU and Dartmouth are meeting on the diamond for the first time in series history.
• The Big Green are one of four new teams the Horned Frogs will play this season.
• TCU took a 10-3 victory over Northern Colorado in its first meeting against a new team this season.
• Michigan State earned a 2-1 series victory over TCU this past weekend.
• The Frogs will also meet Cal State Northridge for the first time in program history.

HOME NOTABLES
• The Horned Frogs will play 31 home games this season. The Frogs are 5-4 through the first nine games played.
• TCU holds an all-time record of 255-96 at Lupton Stadium.
• Last season, TCU ranked 11th nationally in attendance, averaging almost 3,600 fans per game.
• TCU averaged 3,122 fans in the nine games this season, a mark that ranks 15th nationally.

A SWING AND A MISS
The Horned Frogs' pitching staff were one of the first two teams to reach 100 strikeouts. Seven of the nine teams now have 100 strikeouts as a staff: Oklahoma State (139), Oklahoma (133), Kansas (122), Texas Tech (110), Texas (107) and West Virginia (104). The Frogs have a comfortable lead in the league with 148 as a staff.

TCU has tallied at least 10 strikeouts in seven of the 16 games played this season. Three times, they have recorded 15 strikeouts.

Brandon Finnegan's 45 strikeouts lead the nation. He has four more than his nearest competitors Matt Imhof (Cal Poly).

TCU has done a solid job of finding a way on base this season. The Frogs have a .357 on-base percentage as a team. Four Horned Frogs have a .419 on-base percentage or better led by Cody Jones' .440.

The Frogs have drawn 62 walks and been hit by the pitch 19 times. Cody Jones leads the way with 13 walks, whileKevin Cron has been hit by the pitch six times.

FLEET OF FOOT
The Horned Frogs ranks third in the league with 28 stolen bases. Oklahoma State and West Virginia are tied for the league lead with 30.

Cody Jones leads all base runners with 12 stolen bases this season. Eight other Horned Frogs have contributed a stolen base this year. Jones is one stolen base shy of his team-leading total of 13 from 2013.

TCU has tallied at least one stolen base in all but three games this season. Four times this year the Frogs have stolen four bases in a game.
