As expected, OF Billy McKinney and IF Paul Hendrix have both signed pro-contracts with their respective professional teams.

Top commits Billy McKinney and Tyler Alexander both were drafted, along with TCU RHP Andrew Mitchell, but all in all TCU came away unscathed from the draft.

After an up and down year, Mitchell was selected with the 123rd overall pick of the 2013 Amateur Draft by the Chicago White Sox. The fourth round selection comes with a predetermined slot value of $413,000.

McKinney will make $1.9 million from the A's, at least.

Alex Young and Boomer White have been named Louisville Slugger Freshmen All-Americans as announced by Collegiate Baseball today. Since 2004, TCU has produced 15 Freshmen All-Americans.

The 2012 draft took quite a lot of talent away from TCU, both juniors and incoming commits, but 2013 shouldn't be as hurtful to the Frogs.

After what was easily the most frustrating TCU Baseball season in well over a decade, our natural impulse is to try and answer the eternal question, "How did this happen?" The reasons are many, and many are hard to swallow.

RHP Tejay Antone saw limited time in 2013 due to extreme depth in the Horned Frogs rotation, and thus has decided to transfer to Weatherford JUCO to get more guaranteed innings. He could return to TCU the following year.
