According to FootballGeography.com, TCU won more than mere bowl eligibility on Saturday in Morgantown, West Virginia. When Josh Boyce nabbed this two-point conversion for the double-overtime victory, Boyce also broke TCU's tie with Temple for wins in the most states.
The Temple Owls-- also conference-hoppers, though not quite in the same league as TCU, which has played in five different conferences since 1994-- have won football games in 37 states and the District of Columbia. TCU likewise had 38 wins in different states or DC.
But with West Virginia checked off, the Frogs now have wins in 39, and lead the country with the most geographically diverse winning record.
