Yes, Joe Girardi was at TCU

+

Why is the Yankees manager (a Northwestern alum) at TCU? Well why not! Joe Girardi's daughter is a prospective TCU student, so they dropped by for a visit. Girardi also chatted with the TCU baseball team for a bit and later caught the TCU-Texas Tech game. Sounds like a fun day.

Coach Glasgow knows how to cook dem eggs

Co-DC Chad Glasgow seems very happy to be making this omelette. It's a great reminder that the granola cereal I ate this morning is lame and boring.

TCU had a wide receiver named Gary Patterson in 1975

And he had wicked hairdo, too.

DB commit Somerville gets showered with cool TCU stuff

+

Poster? Check. Handwritten notes? Check. Uh...is that a bundt cake? Looks like TCU defensive back commit Ke Shawn Somerville got a lot of love in the form of gifts from the #FrogFam. So Ke Shawn, umm, you gonna eat all that cake by yourself? (If it's cake.)

So the Bram movie isn't in serious talks...but it could be

+

According to Travis Brown of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Chris Del Conte got a call from a writer who had worked for Disney, who simply said "there was a story to be told" but no serious talks about an actual Bram Kohlhausen movie were happening. Mark Cohen told TCU360 that any talks of a Bram movie would happen after he graduates. Whatever it is, we know that at least somebody was interested in it. It's totally doable. And I'm still going to go nuts about it.

WATCH: WFAA's feature on Bram Kohlhausen

+

Things we learned from WFAA's package on Bram Kohlhausen: (1) he played the Alamo Bowl with an injured wrist, (2) he changed a play so Aaron Green could get the chance to score a touchdown in his hometown and (3) we know nothing else about the Bram Kohlhausen movie other than Disney is interested in it.

WATCH: Bram is obviously not used to being famous and it's super cute

+

Can we just talk about how he awkwardly shifts his weight and blushes from all the attention? Stay this way forever, Bram.

Wait? Is Bram really getting a movie?

2

According to Arnold Payne, Disney has contacted TCU to see if there is interest in telling Bram's story. Pretty good start to 2016 for the former walk-on, isn't it?

Kohlhausen gets standing ovation when teacher calls his name in class

+

Bram Kohlhausen got a standing ovation in one of his classes after his professor called his name during roll call. I can only imagine this moment being either (1) very heartfelt, (2) very awkward or (3) both.

WATCH: Women's bball beats Tech in first sweep of the season

+

What sound does the victory car make? Broom broom! TCU women's basketball got their first sweep of the season Wednesday night. The team first beat Texas Tech in Lubbock back in December. When the Red Raiders came to Fort Worth, the Frogs beat them again 69-48. Veja Hamilton was the leading scorer with 14 points en route to the victory. The Frogs are now 11-5 on the season. Check out TCU's highlight video above.
