TCU Baseball Signee Nick Lodolo Drafted in the Second Round

1

Lodolo, who made it clear he would be a tough sign leading into the draft, was a somewhat surprising pick at no. 41, by the Pittsburgh Pirates. Rated by most as the 80th-90th best player available, the 6'6" lefty is now in line for a serious payday should he choose professional baseball, as his slot is valued at over $1.5 million dollars. He will also have a very enticing future in Fort Worth, where he can join a program vying for their third straight College World Series berth this weekend in College Station.

Shawn Robinson can't wait to be a Frog

The class of 2017 QB, and TCU commit, had nothing but good things to say about his future school at the Nike Elite 11 Showcase. He talked all things Frogs, his goals for his senior year, and some of the important lessons he's learned this summer... and anime. But the best thing is that smile <3

Elliott Barzilli's eye is gross: you've been warned

1

The TCU third baseman exited Sunday's championship game early after taking a baseball to the face attempting to make a diving stop. While his status is unclear going forward, Coach Schloss was optimistic he would be back for the Regionals. In the meantime, someone get Barz some ice, please.

TCU Picks Up Well-Known Walk-On

+

Jordan Kitna, son of former Cowboy and current Waxahachie coach Jon, has flipped his college decision from Michigan State to TCU, where he will be a preferred walk-on. A class of 2016 graduate, he joins a crowded QB battle that features Kenny Hill and Foster Sawyer. Kitna threw for over 1900 yards and 20 touchdowns in his lone season at Waxahachie, even with missing a month due to injury. Welcome to the Frog Fam, Jordan!

TCU Volleyball Has a New Floor...

... and it's pretty awesome. The Horned Frog volleyballers have developed quite a rabid following and a significant home-court advantage, and now they have a brand new floor to play on, too! While the season is still a few months away, the excitement is already brewing around this up and coming program, who is fresh off of signing a stellar class of future Frogs.

What a feeling! Congratulations Derrick Kindred on being drafted by the Cleveland Browns. With a couple of Frogs on their roster (Kindred and Tank Carder), the Browns will have quite the defense.

Evan Skoug is the Hero of the Week

The Frog Fam came through with a late voting surge to push the TCU sophomore to the top of the charts. Congrats, Skougie!

Brandon Finnegan DID get a World Series Ring

... and it's HUGE. We weren't sure if Finny would be rewarded with the ultimate prize for his time served with Kansas City, but it looks like the Royals took care of him in a BIG way.
