Coming off one of the biggest (and most satisfying) wins of TCU's recent history, the Frogs return home for the final two weeks of the regular season to face the remainder of the bottom of the MWC barrel at home. Thanks so much for the delightful home schedule of UNLV (2-7, 1-3), Colorado State (3-6, 1-6 MWC) and New Mexico (1-7, 1-4) Mountain West. For those keeping track at home, that means that if the Mountain West's teams with winning records this year (TCU, Air Force, Boise State, San Diego State and Wyoming), Fort Worth has (and will) see exactly one of them: TCU. This makes winning the next two games and taking the Mountain West trophy with us on the way out the door even more important than the frog handsign on one hand and the middle finger extended on the other.
Colorado State enters the ruins of Amon Carter stadium on a four game losing streak, last tasting victory over the Aggies of Utah State. The Rams will either be going with regular starter Pete Thomas on a sprained knee or freshman Garrett Grayson- neither option is that appealing against the intensifying TCU pass rush or improved play from our secondary. The rams surrendered 38 points the last time they were on the road (against next week's opponent, UNLV no less) so hopefully we'll see a similar score from our offense and a much lesser score put up by CSU. This is your gamethread which can double as an open thread for the rest of the day (death to Houston), and as always give 'em hell, TCU!
