The first meeting between these schools gives Gary Patterson his first opportunity to reach 100 wins as a head coach (and step ever closer to the title of winningest football coach in TCU history). TCU is coming off of a great win over Air Force, which has put the lofty goals for this season- securing a BCS bid and winning the Mountain West- back on the table. The Mountain West title goal will still be possible with a loss to the Warhawks, but any thoughts of a BCS bid will disappear, along with TCU's undefeated home streak (20 in a row).
