SBNation BlogPoll: Week 5

TCU passes up falling Stanford, and is passed by rising Oregon State in this week's SBNation BlogPoll.

Reese Strickland-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

The votes are in again-- TCU stays at 15th in the BlogPoll. Considering how feckless the team was Saturday in the rain, it's probably as much a sign as any that the Horned Frogs still hold some benefit of the doubt among SBNation's bloggers.

Other noteables below the jump.

A lot of teams garnered first place votes this week, but none of them even move the needle against the preponderance of first-placeness that Alabama has accumulated in five weeks. The Crimson Tide don't just have benefit of the doubt-- they own it.

Four unbeaten Big12 teams rank in the top 15 (but none higher than 6th ranked K-State). One-loss Oklahoma comes in at 17th. Texas Tech remains the odd man out-- it's unbeaten and unranked, but receiving enough votes to be 27th.
