TCU's Commits Make it Official

Three TCU Men's Basketball commits, Karviar Shepherd and Brandon Parrish, have officially signed with the Frogs.

The photo above, of TCU AD Chris Del Conte, isn't a representation of this content so much as a representation of how I feel right now. It's a good day to be a Horned Frog.

Karviar Shepherd from Prime Prep Academy, Brandon Parrish from Arlington Seguin and Michael Williams from Ronald Reagan in San Antonio all made their commitments to TCU official today in separate signing ceremonies.

Shepherd, a 6'9" center, has been orally committed to TCU since early October. He is currently sitting out this season at Prime Prep due to a ruling by the UIL. Shepherd is a 4-star recruit according to both Rivals and ESPN. (ESPN has him as the 4th best center, and the 7th best recruit in the state of Texas).

Parrish, a 6'5", 3-star small forward, averaged just over 14 points, six rebounds and two assists a game for Arlington Seguin last season.

Williams, a 6'2", 3-star point guard, came on to the scene this summer with his AAU team, the South Texas Irish. Williams averaged almost 17 points and 5 assists a game for the Irish over the summer.

It's apparent that being in the Big 12 is already helping Trent Johnson with recruiting. These are three big pieces for the future of Horned Frogs basketball, and it's good to have them signed and sealed.

Now, they just need to deliver.

Yes, that is a Stevie Wonder reference. No, I'm not ashamed.

For TCU Baseball, they also had a great day, signing what looks to be another top 10 class nationally.
