In case you might have heard, the Olympics are taking place in London right now. TCU has a lot of Frogs participating in the games, here is an update.
- Senior Sarah Scherer finished 7th in her bid for a gold medal in the Women's 10m Air Rifle competition.
- Edgar Crespo is participating in his second Olympic games. Crespo, representing Panama, finished 35th with a time of 1:02.18 in the in the 100-meter breaststroke. He did not qualify for the 16-man semifinal.
- TCU graduate Khadevis Robinson earned a place on the U.S. team in the 800 after missing out in 2008. Robinson ran in the 2004 games in Athens.
- TCU graduate Justyn Warner will represent Canada in the 100-meter dash and the men's 4x100-meter relay.
- Also, former Frog Gregg Troy is the head coach for the men’s Olympic swim team and Bill Koppelman is the assistant coach for Panama’s swimming and diving team.
