GoFrogs.com continues its preview of the 2012 TCU football team with a look at the tight ends.
Corey Fuller (6-6, 255, Sr.), who started four games last season, is the veteran at the position and one of 10 current Horned Frogs to already have their TCU degree in hand.
A former cornerback at La Vernia (Texas) High School, Fuller had two receptions in 2011.
Stephen Bryant (6-5, 242, So.), an All-State defensive back in high school, saw action in 12 contests a year ago.
Walker Dille (6-4, 242, Sr.) and Dominic Merka (6-4, 230, RFr.) are returnees who will push for playing time. Dille was limited to one game last season due to injury. Merka, a redshirt in 2011, was a quarterback at Crosby (Texas) High School.
Gerren Ballard (6-6, 250, Fr.) and Griffin Gilbert (6-5, 215, Fr.) are true freshmen also in the mix at tight end. Gilbert was a Sports Illustrated High School All-American who was ranked as the No. 1 tight end in Texas and No. 10 in the nation.
Cliff Murphy (6-4, 280, So.) is a converted defensive end who adds depth to the position.
