Frogsintheleague_medium

Logan Brock, TE, Texans: (San Francisco-9 Houston- 20)- After failing to record a catch in the Texans first preseason game, Brock hauled in one pass for 20 yards in Houston’s win over the Niners.

Braylon Broughton, DE, Saints: (Jacksonville-27 New Orleans- 24) - Big B had one tackle and a sack in the Saints three point loss to the Jaguars.

Aaron Brown, RB, Bengals: (Cincinnati- 24 Atlanta-19) - The Bengals were without BenJarvus Green-Ellis and Bernard Scott but Brown wasn’t able to take advantage of the opportunity. Brown had five carries for 1 yard and no receptions although he was targeted once. At this point, thinks aren’t looking good.

Marcus Cannon, OL, Patriots: (Philadelphia-27 Patriots-17)- Cannon was called for a hold and allowed a sack. The Patriots offensive line is struggling.

Tank Carder, LB, Bills: (Buffalo-14 Minnesota- 36) - The Tank made three tackles for the Bills as they fell to 0-2 in the preseason.

Drew Coleman, CB, Lions: (Detroit-27 Baltimore- 12) - The Lions placed Drew Coleman on injured reserve with a head injury. Lions coach Jim Schwartz said last Wednesday that "the team was taking things "day by day" with Coleman."

Andy Dalton, QB, Bengals: (Cincinnati- 24 Atlanta-19)- Dalton shined for the Bengals once again finishing 8-14 for 125 yards and a nice 50 yard TD pass to A.J. Green. Here is a good article from CBS Sports on Dalton silencing his critics.

Clint Gresham, Deep Snapper, Sea Hawks: (Seattle-30 Denver-10) - Nothing to update here.

David Hawthorne, LB, Saints: (Jacksonville-27 New Orleans- 24)-After missing the Saints last game with a hip flexor, Hawthorne returned to lead New Orleans in tackles with five.

Jerry Hughes, LB/DE, Colts: (Indianapolis-24 Pittsburgh-26)- Hughes continues to shine for the Colts as an outside linebacker. Hughes racked up 7 total tackles, 2 for losses, and also had a sack. Is the third year a charm for the former Frog DE?

Colin Jones, S, 49ers: (San Francisco-9 Houston- 20) - There are reports that Colin has done well in practice, but I don’t know if he has been getting in games. Anyone know?

Jeremy Kerley, WR, Jets: (Giants-26 Jets-3)- Kerley is still nursing a slight hamstring tear. He did not play in the Giants beat down of the Jets.

Greg McCoy, CB, Bears: (Washington-31 Bears-33) - McCoy did not record any tackles in the Bears two point win, but he did have two kick returns for 45 yards.

Marshall Newhouse, OL, Packers: (Cleveland-35 Green Bay- 10)- Newhouse returned from a concussion last week after missing the Packers first preseason game and was back in midseason form. Newhouse played three series for a total of 17 plays.

Jason Phillips, LB, Panthers: (Miami-17 Carolina-23) - Phillips recorded four tackles in the Panthers six point win over Miami.

Herb Taylor, OL, Packers: (Cleveland-35 Green Bay- 10) - No update

Michael Toudouze, OL, Chargers: (Dallas-20 San Diego-28) - No update

Daryl Washington, LB, Cardinals: (Oakland 27- Arizona-31) - Washington totaled four tackles and forced a fumble for the Cardinals in their third preseason game of the year.

Ed Wesley, RB, Cowboys: (Dallas-20 San Diego-28) - Wesley was cut by the Cowboys.

Malcolm Williams, CB, Patriots: (Philadelphia-27 Patriots-17)- No update

Jimmy Young, WR, Steelers: (Indianapolis-24 Pittsburgh-26) - No action for Young against Indianapolis as far as I could tell. Things aren’t looking good for Jimmy.
