Mack Brown has confirmed that the TCU v. Texas game this year will be played on Thanksgiving Day, not Saturday as it had been originally scheduled. The details of the game have yet to be announced due to the ongoing finalization of the Big 12's new TV package between ESPN and Fox. Once the lawyers have finished the paperwork, details for this game should be announced.
The only other TV information that has been announced includes the fact that TCU will play SMU on Fox Sports Southwest this year, time TBD and that the Kansas game will start at 11am CST, network TBD. The first three games television details should be announced within the next 10 days, along with the Thanksgiving day game details.
After the first three weeks games (vs. Grambling, at Kansas), each additional game time and network will be announced the Monday before that weeks game. ESPN has the first right of refusal for each weeks slate of games but Fox Sports can also request premier level games as part of a sharing deal between the two networks, details of which are still being finalized.
