As part of our Frogs O War football coverage this season, I will be doing a posting called "Inside the Numbers" every week. Normally this will go up on Sunday and focus more on stats from the game, but since there was no game this week, things are a little different. Here are some numbers to ponder for Saturday’s matchup with Grambling.

- The number of wins Gary Patterson needs to pass Dutch Meyer to become TCU's all-time winningest coach.

- Grambling State fumbled two punts inside its own 15 yard line in their 22-21 loss to Alcorn State in week one.

- TCU was one of just four schools to have a bye the opening weekend.

- TCU has won 11 games in 6 of the last 7 seasons.

- TCU's current winning streak, the longest current winning streak in the nation.

- TCU is 8-3 in 11 season debuts under Gary Patterson and 68-38-9 overall in openers.

- This is TCU's first season in the Big 12

- TCU's conference winning streak, which is also currently the longest in the nation.

XXII- Grambling coach Doug Williams was the Super Bowl XXII Most Valuable Player for the Washington Redskins.

- This is the 82nd season of TCU playing in Amon G. Carter Stadium.
