It is a day late, but I blame New Years Eve for that. Here is how the Former Frogs closed out the last week of the NFL regular season.
Marcus Cannon, OL, Patriots: (Dolphins-0 Patriots-28)- No update.
Tank Carder, LB, Browns: (Browns-10 Steelers-24)- Tank had 1 tackle in the Browns loss to Pittsburgh.
Andy Dalton, QB, Bengals: (Ravens-17 Bengals-23)- Dalton was 10-of-15 for 78 yards and 1 touchdown in the Bengals big win over the Ravens. The Red Rifle has now led Cincinatti to back-to-back playoff appearances. The Bengals face the Texans on Saturday.
Clint Gresham, Long Snapper, Seahawks: (Rams-13 Seahawks-20)- No update. Seattle faces Washington on Sunday.
David Hawthorne, LB, Saints: (Panthers-44 Saints-38)-Hawthorne recorded 4 tackles in the Saints loss to the Panthers. Hawthorne finished the season with 38 tackles although he only played in eleven games.
Jerry Hughes, LB, Colts: (Texans-16 Colts-28)- Hughes recorded 2 tackles for the Colts in their win over the Texans. Hughes finished the season with 41 tackles. The Colts face the Ravens on Sunday.
Colin Jones, S, Panthers: (Panthers-44 Saints-38)- No tackles recorded.
Jeremy Kerley, WR, Jets: (Jets-9 Bills-28)- It was a rough season for the Jets as they finished 6-10 and missed the playoffs. Kerley made 3 receptions for 88 yards in this one. Kerley finished the season with 56 catches for 827 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Marshall Newhouse, OL, Packers: (Packers-34 Vikings-37)- No update. The Packers will face the Vikings again on Saturday night.
Jason Phillips, LB, Panthers: (Panthers-44 Saints-38)- Phillips started for the Panthers and recorded 2 tackles. Phillips finished the season with 22 tackles.
Daryl Washington, LB, Cardinals: (Cardinals-13 49ers-27)- Washington led the Cardinals in tackles with 11, 8 of them solo. Washington had 134 tackles, 9 sacks, and 1 interception this season.
