The linebacker from John Curtis HS in River Ridge, Louisiana, has had a crazy 24 hours of recruiting.

UPDATE: 9:14pm CST

Duke Riley has committed to LSU, who did indeed offer him a full scholarship tonight... LSU reportedly changed a full scholarship offer in their 2013 class to a grey shirt to accommodate for Riley.

Sucks.

Original story...

Duke Riley, one of the remaining top targets for TCU, has finally received what he's wanted all along, it would appear: A full ride offer from LSU.

Now when I say "remaining target" I mean he has not committed to TCU yet. Or has he?

Again, 247 sports very quietly reported that Riley committed to the Frogs yesterday (Tuesday), however the tide seems to be saying that he'll be an LSU Tiger before the day is over. It's odd, because Rivals and Scout both still had Riley listed as not committed to any school.

What's stranger is that Riley, a very prolific tweeter, has not mentioned anything about it from his official account (@1goal1dream).

However, Wendesday morning, reports coming from the Times-Picayune in New Orleans said that Riley had finally received a full scholarship offer from LSU, and was going to commit during an in-home visit from members of the Tigers coaching staff.

Riley has been tweeting these references all afternoon, and it seems like he will end up a Bayou Bengal.

We're not sure what's going on, but we do know that recently, Riley eliminated Tulane in a surprise move.

It was at that point that TCU became the front runner for the 3-star, 6'1" 200lb linebacker.

We'll try to keep you all apprised of the situation as we learn more, but let's hope that 1) Riley did actually commit to TCU and 2) He won't flip to LSU.

Of course, we're still a week away from signing day, so if he does flip, there may still be a small sliver of hope to get him back.
