Tonight, the Frogs will try to play basketball.
I say try, because as hard as they work on that court, sometimes it barely resembles the sport. This is not a knock on the TCU players as individuals, they're all great guys, it's simply a cold, hard truth about their ability and skill level.
So tonight, in Austin, prepare yourselves mentally. A beatdown is waiting to happen.
Texas isn't a good team, either. They were just drilled into the ground by Kansas this past Saturday. Before that, they lost to Oklahoma. I think the score was similar to the Red River Rivalry final in terms of margin of victory for OU.
However, sandwiched in between those losses was a double overtime win against Iowa State.
That win alone means Texas is better.
I said it before the Kansas game, and I'll say it again, crazier things have happened, but I don't see TCU winning this game.
Don't count on anything special though.
