TCU Adds Tevin Lawson to 2013 Class

After delaying his decision to sign when LSU pulled his full offer, Tevin Lawson has made his decision.

It's a good day to be a TCU Horned Frog.

As first reported by HornedFrogBlitz.com, 4-star defensive tackle prospect Tevin Lawson, from Denham Springs, Louisiana, made his decision last night to sign with TCU.

This ends the week and a half struggle Lawson has had to pick a school, after LSU pulled his full offer and asked him to greyshirt.

Lawson, a long time LSU commit, saw his offer pulled (based on who you talk to) for either Duke Riley or Tashawn Bower. You'll all recognize Riley's name, as it seemed like TCU was in the lead until the very last second, when LSU, his well-known #1 school, finally offered.

It's a good feeling to land someone as talented as Lawson, seeing how the Frogs missed out on the big five they were pursuing as National Signing Day approached.

Some background on Lawson: He's 6'5", 285 pounds of raw athlete, and was graded as the #21 defensive tackle in the nation and the #11 recruit coming out of Louisiana.

In the end, Lawson was also considering Louisiana Tech and Kentucky, and was receiving interest from Ole Miss and Mississippi State.

Welcome aboard, Tevin, and Go Frogs!
