TCU Baseball Alumni Game Set For 1:00 p.m.

The TCU baseball team will give fans a sneak peek at the 2013 squad when they host their annual Alumni game on Saturday afternoon. First pitch is slated for 1p.m. at Lupton Stadium. Admission is free.

The expected starting pitchers for the contest will be left-hander Trevor Seidenberger against Greg Holle. The 2013 alumni squad will feature six new faces as Jason Coats, Josh Elander, Zac Jordan, Kevin Allen, Kaleb Merck and Kyle Von Tungeln will make their first appearance in the other dugout.

Also making their way to Fort Worth for TCU's annual Alumni Weekend will be a host of talented former players. The alumni roster will feature 12 players currently playing professional baseball. Along with the five who were drafted last summer will be Chad Huffman, Taylor Featherston, Matt Curry, Greg Holle, Kyle Winkler, Jerome Pena and Erik Miller. Others set to play in the game are Royce Huffman, Brett Medlin, Clint Arnold, Keith Conlon, Ryan Pack, Ben Carruthers, Corey Steglich, Matt Vern, Joe Weik, Hunt Woodruff, Jimmie Pharr, Trent Appleby and Dillon Farish.

The 2013 Horned Frogs enter the season ranked as high as No. 12 in the country. TCU is set to open the campaign onFeb. 15 at No. 13 Ole Miss. First pitch is slated for 4 p.m. at Oxford-University Stadium.
