The Bats Have It!: TCU pounds NwSt 13-6

The Frogs wrap the series with Northwestern State with the bats finally appearing to wake up before Big 12 play

Smile, big guy, we won!
Smile, big guy, we won!

After inconsistent offense throughout the non-conference season, the TCU Horned Frogs seem to be settling into the groove at just the right time. The Frogs led Northwestern State 13-3 at the end of six innings, letting the fans relax a bit through the remaining innings before giving up a few garbage runs at the end to make it a mere doubling of State rather than quadrupling their run total. The Kansas Jayhawks are next up on the docket as TCU opens the Big 12 slate at home with a three game stand. The Jayhawks are 11-5 so far, but have a loss to directional Arkansas like another team I could name, and they haven't played much of anyone yet. This will be a good series for TCU to measure themselves against an average Big 12 team before the (crimson and) Cream of the Big 12 crop appears on the schedule in late March.

Great win, let's keep it going guys. Go Frogs.
