Could This Be The New TCU Football Helmet, Set To Debut This Friday?

Gary Patterson said tonight during media availability that Nike had specifically asked him to stop releasing pictures of the new uniform they had designed for TCU. This coming Friday is the date for the big "reveal." Could this be TCU's new helmet?

We have no official confirmation from TCU Athletics officials as of yet, but a fan found this t-shirt at a Sports Authority and provided a picture Sunday of what could be the newly designed TCU Football helmet, set to debut this Friday for the big game against LSU in Cowboys Stadium.

So, is this a view of the new helmet? Me thinks yes. Inquiries to TCU and Nike contacts were not returned. We will know, for sure, on Friday.
