SMU @ TCU: Battle for the Iron Skillet Gamethread

We all know what this is about. Proximity. Hatred. Rivalry. A big hunk of iron and a belief that eating frog legs is not okay. Let's keep it at home.

The weather will be better, but the Hate is strong no matter the temperature.

The Frogs have had over a week to let the frustrating Texas Tech loss go as they return home to take on their metroplex rivals, the SMU Mustangs. You can generally throw out the records when these two teams get together, but even more so this time as they both have the same 1-2 records that include a loss to Tech and a win over an FBS school. Still, TCU has more talent, better coaching and is playing at home- this one shouldn't be close. A blowout would be fantastic, but when it's SMU any kind of win is sweet, especially with both of SMU's fans in attendance (I'll stop mocking SMU fan interest when they get a blog that can do a damn Q&A with me, every year the search gets more frustrating).

The Skillet came home last year after the monsoon game, let's make sure it remains here for a long time to come. This is your gamethread for live chat and analysis.

T-C-U!

We're gonna beat the hell outta SMOO!
