Game Week #3: TCU at Texas Tech

TCU heads into week 3 with one not good loss and one not good win. Tech has two wins that mean and say nothing about the actual strength of their program, but their QB has looked solid. It's a short week, see everybody Thursday night on ESPN!

SERIES NOTES
*Texas Tech holds a 29-23-3 edge over TCU in the all-time series which began with a 28-16 Horned Frogs win in Fort Worth in 1926.
*TCU is 5-17-3 against the Red Raiders in Lubbock and 18-12 versus Texas Tech at home.
*TCU has dropped its last three games at Texas Tech. The Horned Frogs' last win in Lubbock was a 30-16 decision in 1991.
*The Horned Frogs and Red Raiders have met just three times since the Southwest Conference dissolved after the 1995 season. Texas Tech won the first game, 70-35, in Lubbock in 2004. TCU then earned a 12-3 victory in Fort Worth in 2006, before the Red Raiders' 56-53 triple-overtime win in Fort Worth last season.
