The decision not to retain wide receivers coach Darrell Wyatt may have played a role in Porter switching his pledge back to TCU on the day that the recruiting dead period ended and Horned Frogs coaches visited with him. That visit from the TCU staff apparently had a greater impact than a similar visit from the new Texas coaches.
