TCU wide receiver Josh Doctson has been named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week.

Doctson totaled seven receptions for 225 yards and two touchdowns in the 10th-ranked Horned Frogs' 42-9 win over then-No. 15 Oklahoma State.

The 225 yards topped all FBS players nationally for the weekend of Oct. 18. It was also one yard shy of TCU's single-game record (226, Jimmy Young, vs. Wyoming, 2008).

Doctson's 77- and 84- yard touchdowns came in a span of three plays to help TCU build a 21-3 first-quarter lead. The scoring grabs were the Horned Frogs' longest plays from scrimmage since 2012. The 84-yard touchdown was the ninth-longest play in TCU history.

A junior from Mansfield, Texas, Doctson tops TCU on the season with 31 receptions for 497 yards and five touchdowns.
