TCU Baseball Coach Jim Schlossnagle Talks Brandon Finnegan

ESPN's Cary Chow hops on the phone with TCU baseball coach Jim Schlossnagle to talk about Brandon Finnegan's quick rise to the majors.

We've all become well versed in the national story, by now. Brandon Finnegan, former TCU phenom, ascended the ranks of the minor leagues at breakneck speed, and has found himself pitching for the Kansas City Royals in their playoff run.

As Frog fans, we never doubted Finnegan's ability, but his meteoric jump to the majors still had us all a little surprised. Turns out, we aren't the only ones that feel this way.

Check out this interview between ESPN's Cary Chow and TCU baseball coach Jim Schlossnagle, as Schloss reveals his thoughts about Finnegan's quick jump from the College World Series to the MLB Playoffs.

Along with this video, which is currently resting on the front page of ESPN.com, check out the wonderful longform article by ESPN's Elizabeth Merrill, detailing Finnegan's journey from TCU starter to Royal's bullpen royalty in the span of three short months.

I know that despite our MLB allegiances, we're all darn proud of Finnegan!

Go Frogs.
