#4 TCU Horned Frogs @ Kansas Jayhawks Gamethread

The Frogs take their highest ranking of the year on the road to Lawrence, where the Kansas Jayhawks just collected their first Big 12 win of the year.

A lot of Boykin in front of Jayhawks today, please.

After the gauntlet the Frogs have been through, and with Texas suddenly looking like a test up ahead, you could forgive the Frogs overlooking this week's opponent a bit in most cases. After all, the Jayhawks have not only not defeated the Frogs in Big 12 play, but they have been fairly putrid so far this season- getting shut out by Texas, pantsed by Baylor and defeated by Texas Tech- nothing to worry about for the Frogs, right?

Wrong. Kansas has rallied under interim head coach Clint Bowen and have gotten better with every game they've played- they came close to upending Oklahoma State at home, trailed Tech by just 6 at the start of the fourth quarter and finally did spring an upset over Iowa State to collect their first Big 12 win of the season. This is a team that's going to make us fight for it, and if the Frogs aren't ready to respond in kind, this one could get ugly, and ugliness is something we can't afford right now. TCU has moved into a playoff spot with just three games left on the season, but the margin for error is very slim at #4- and there's the ever lurking threat of Baylor behind us. The Frogs need to make a statement every time that they're on the field that they are a team that cannot be left out of the playoff if you truly want to determine who the best team in the nation is, and it's just as true today as it will be on Thanksgiving.

This is your gamethread for live chat and analysis of today's game, and remember that there aren't very many off these opportunities in a year- we need to seize this one.

Go Frogs.
