This much is certain: No. 4 TCU, coming off Saturday’s 34-30 escape from outmanned Kansas, should prepare to fall to the No. 5 spot in Tuesday’s updated CFP rankings.
TCU coach Gary Patterson said he would have liked to have won the Kansas game by more than four points for the sake of the players, who will probably see their team ranking dropped by the College Football Playoff committee this week.
