TCU WR Cameron Echols-Luper Named Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week

The wide receiver's punt return in the third quarter gave TCU the lead for good.

TCU's Cameron Echols Luper has been named the Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week for his efforts in Saturday's 34-30 win at Kansas.

A sophomore from Auburn, Ala., Echols-Luper returned a third-quarter punt 69 yards for a touchdown to give the Horned Frogs the lead for good at 31-27.

Echols-Luper totaled 121 return yards in the game, including 86 on punts and 35 on kickoffs. He also had a pass reception in the game.

Additionally, Echols-Luper was named the National Punt Returner of the Week by the College Football Performance Awards.

The No. 4 Horned Frogs return to action on Thanksgiving at Texas in a 6:30 p.m. game televised on FOX Sports 1.

I also want to point out that I called this happening. You can ask anyone that was at J. Blacks and sitting at my table, which was three other people.
