Frogs in the League: Week 12

Several former Frogs continue to make their presence felt in the National Football League, including Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton, who led his squad to a 22-13 victory over the Houston Texans on Sunday.

Andy Dalton (QB) Cincinnati Bengals:

This Week: The Cincinnati Bengals defeated Ryan Mallett and the Houston Texans, 22-13. Dalton completed 24 of 35 passes for 233 yards with one touchdown and one interception.

Season Statistics: 211-338 (62.4%) for 2,413 yards, 7.1 yards per pass with 12 TDs and 10 INTs.

Marcus Cannon (OT) New England Patriots:

This Week: Cannon saw action in his 11th game of the season for the surging Patriots, who rolled to a 34-9 victory over the Detroit Lions on Sunday. The Patriots have won six straight games and are averaging 39.4 points per game during the streak. Off the bench for the first time this season for the New England Patriots in a tough loss at Kansas City Monday night.

Season Statistics: Cannon has started 3 out of 11 games this season.

Tank Carder (LB) Cleveland Browns:

This Week: Carder tallied his fifth tackle of the season in Cleveland's 26-24 victory over Atlanta.

Season Statistics: Carder has seen action in all 11 games for the Browns in 2014, playing mostly on special teams.

Clint Gresham (LS) Seattle Seahawks:

This Week: Gresham handled long-snapping duties for the Seahawks in its 19-3 victory over Arizona on Sunday.

Season Statistics: Gresham has participated in all 11 games for Seattle in 2014.

David Hawthorne (LB) New Orleans Saints:

This Week: Hawthorne totaled seven tackles for the Saints on Monday night after missing the previous two games due to injury.

Season Statistics: Hawthorne has 42 tackles and one interception in six starts this season.

Jerry Hughes (DE) Buffalo Bills:

This Week: Hughes had a big impact against the New York Jets in the team's 38-3 victory on Monday night, recording five tackles and two sacks.

Season Statistics: Hughes has 40 tackles and 9.5 sacks in 11 starts this season.

Colin Jones (S) Carolina Panthers:

This Week: The Carolina Panthers had a bye week.

Season Statistics: Jones has 14 tackles and one sack in 11 games this season. The former TCU strong safety has started two games for the Panthers.

Jeremy Kerley (WR) New York Jets:

This Week: Kerley was one of the lone bright spots for the Jets on Monday night, hauling in five catches for 66 yards in the team's 38-3 loss to Buffalo. Kerley also had three punt returns for a total of 42 yards, including a 41-yard return.

Season Statistics: Kerley has started 5 out of 11 games for the Jets in 2014, recording 31 catches for 303 yards and 1 touchdown. The slot receiver is averaging 9.8 yards per catch.

Stansly Maponga (DE) Atlanta Falcons:

This Week: Maponga saw action in his sixth consecutive game for Atlanta on Sunday, but did not record any tackles in the team's 26-24 loss to Cleveland.

Season Statistics: Maponga has recorded 2 tackles and 1 sack in 10 games.

Marshall Newhouse (OT) Cincinnati Bengals:

This Week: Newhouse saw action against the Texans on Sunday as the Bengals gained a hard-fought victory in Houston.

Season Statistics: Newhouse has seen action in 10 games for the Bengals in 2014, including three starts.

Jason Verrett (CB) San Diego Chargers:

This Week: Verrett's season ended after he was placed on injured reserve Nov. 15.
