There are three 8-0 teams in college basketball. One is Duke. One is Miami. And the other is TCU. The Horned Frogs extended their win streak with a great win in Oxford Thursday night as a part of the Big 12//SEC Challenge. TCU's win puts the Big 12 at 4-1 over the SEC with wins against Auburn, Vanderbilt, Arkansas, and Ole Miss. Four more games will be played this weekend--most notably Texas taking on Kentucky and Florida facing off against Kansas.
TCU had a three-point lead at the half, before an early second half push led by Karviar Shepherd kept the game out of reach for the Rebels. Shepherd led the Horned Frogs with 14 points and 9 rebounds In the win. Four TCU players also reached double digits; Shepherd, Brandon Parrish (11), Brandon Parrish (11). and Amric Fields (10). Anderson also had 5 assists and Chris Washburn had 2 steals and 1 block.
Chauncey Collins left the game after banging his head pretty hard on the court. No word on his return.
