TCU basketball is well on its way to an 0-18 season in Big 12 play, but there are still six games left for the Frogs to try and get a win.

Tonight, Kyan Anderson and his buddies take on the Wildcats, a team that has been inconsistent this season, posting a 7-5 record in the Big 12.

Anderson is averaging 21 points per game over the past seven games, and has scored at least 25 points in each of the Frogs' last three contests.Over those three games he's been shooting 61% from the floor and 56% from three-point range, while averaging almost six assists per contest.

However, the rest of his team is shooting rather poorly. In those same three contests where Anderson has totaled 81 points, the rest of the TCU squad has scored 111. That's just not going to get it done.

Anderson should continue his hot streak against Kansas State, a team that has allowed opposing guards like Kenny Chery and Naadir Tharpe to score and dish the ball at will the past few contests. Tharpe recorded a double-double while Chery recorded a 20 point, 12 assist, 11 rebound triple-double.

The big question, as it has been all year, is how will the guys around Anderson step up. Specifically, what will Amric Fields, Jarvis Ray and Karviar Shepherd do to lighten the load?

We can only wait and see.
