Joeckel was on campus in Fort Worth today visiting with Gary Patterson and others on the coaching staff, and touring campus. So, all the speculation by Frog fans on who will be the starter this fall can continue in earnest, with Joeckel's name formally being thrown in the ring.
Joeckel graduated from Texas A&M in December, meaning he doesn't have to sit out a year before playing for the Frogs. He'll have one year to play, and it can be assumed that he wouldn't go somewhere where starting wasn't probably, if not guaranteed.
Joeckel spent his career at Texas A&M backing up several players, most recently Johnny Manziel. He'll be competing with Trevone Boykin, Foster Sawyer, Zach Allen and Grayson Muehlstein for the starting gig at TCU.
