The No. 9 TCU Horned Frogs concluded the regular season with a 7-1 victory over Baylor Saturday night behind a strong pitching performance from Tyler Alexander. TCU won 23 of its final 26 regular season games.

Odell homered and singled in a run in his first two at-bats on Saturday to give TCU a 2-0 lead in the regular-season finale against Baylor at Baylor Ballpark. Odell was wearing No. 36 because he left his usual No. 5 jersey in Fort Worth.

It is Brun’s ninth career title at TCU and third of the season. He shot an even-par 72 in the final round to finish at 10-under for the tournament, one stroke ahead of Georgia’s Lee McCoy. Brun has won back-to-back titles after running away with the Big 12 championship at Whispering Pines in April.

As a team, the Horned Frogs carded a 3-over 293 on Saturday, missing a berth to the NCAA Championship by just two strokes to finish sixth after entering the regional as a No. 9 seed.
