College World Series Game Thread: Texas Tech vs. Ole Miss

In the second elimination game of the tournament, Texas Tech looks to imitate Texas, and extend their stay in Omaha.

In what should be the more explosive of the two games today, Texas Tech and Ole Miss meet up in a battle of high powered offenses. Both had letdown games in their first CWS appearance this year, so expect them to be geared up for this afternoon's matchup.

Both pitchers will have their hands full, as Ryan Moseley gets set to pitch for Texas Tech, opposite of Christian Trent for Ole Miss. Both southpaws will look to keep the opposing bats under control.

Moseley is a surprise starter for the Red Raiders today, as he gets the ball over assumed starter Dylan Dusek. Dusek hosts an 8-0 record in 14 starts this season, while Moseley is 1-2, and will be making his fifth start of the year.

The freshman will certainly have his hands full as he tries to contain a deadly Ole Miss offense that racked up 20 runs against Louisiana-Lafayette, including 10 in the series clincher.

Tech's offense, potent for most of the season, has fallen quiet during this postseason run, and if Trent pitches up to his capabilities, it may stay that way.

Honestly, I'm pulling for Tech today, but with Moseley starting I think Ole Miss takes it.
