TCU added a relatively unknown recruit on Thursday evening, New Boston athlete Jeff Gladney.

Gladney will most likely play in the secondary, as Jeremy references in the tweet above. He ran a 4.34 at a TCU camp in Kilgore on Thursday, and committed shortly after being offered a scholarship. With that kind of speed, he'll no doubt garner comparisons to recently drafted TCU cornerback Jason Verrett. However, Gladney stands several inches taller than Verrett at 6'0".
Gladney also held offers from North Texas, Tulsa, Northern Illinois, Rice and UTSA. He's an under-the-radar guy right now, but now that he's committed to TCU, we could probably see a few other schools start to talk to him (because that seems to be the m/o these days throughout the Big 12). Prior to his commitment, schools like Baylor and Oklahoma State were already in touch with Gladney.
Gladney becomes the 12th commit to TCU's 2015 class, which now sits at No. 16 on Rivals, No. 18 on 247, and tied for 23rd on Scout.
