TCU's Perry headed to Kansas to become Jayhawks' new co-DC | FOX Sports

Perry spent two years on Gary Patterson's staff with the Horned Frogs. This season as TCU's cornerbacks coach, Perry, a former CB at the University of Houston, helped groom senior Kevin White into second-team All-Big 12 player.

The other four finalists for the award were Baylor senior quarterback Bryce Petty, from Midlothian High School and the 2013 Campbell recipient; Boise State junior running back Jay Ajayi, from Frisco Liberty; Ohio State freshman quarterback J.T. Barrett, from Wichita Falls Rider; and Oklahoma freshman running back Samaje Perine, from Pflugerville Hendrickson.

Boykin, who finished fourth in Heisman Trophy voting, earned All-America honors from Walter Camp, Associated Press, USA Today, CBSSports.com and Phil Steele. He was also the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year and the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Offensive Most Valuable Player.

Patterson won the Bryant Award for the second time. He has already won the Eddie Robinson coach of the year award from the Football Writers Association of America and has been named coach of the year by the American Football Coaches Association, the Walter Camp Football Foundation, the Associated Press, ESPN/Home Depot, CBSSports.com and Scout.com, and he was the Woody Hayes Award recipient.

TCU guard Zahna Medley scored 21 points to lead the Horned Frogs to a third straight Big 12 victory for the first time in program history Wednesday with an 80-63 victory over Kansas at Allen Fieldhouse.

The TCU women's basketball team kept its momentum rolling on Wednesday night with an 80-63 road victory over Kansas at Allen Fieldhouse. The Horned Frogs claimed their third-straight Big 12 victory to improve to 11-4 overall and 3-1 in league play.
