GameThread: TCU vs. #15 Iowa State

TCU travels to Ames, Iowa this afternoon to take on yet another ranked Big 12 opponent.

Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

After their upset bid fell short at home against #9 Kansas on Wednesday, the Frogs will have another shot to knock off a ranked opponent this afternoon. TCU travels to Ames to face the 15th-ranekd Iowa State Cyclones and their "Hilton Magic." The Frogs, who have yet to defeat Iowa State as members of the Big 12, will face off against the Cyclones for the first time this season today.

Kyan Anderson leads TCU with about 14 points per game, but he will need his supporting cast to step up for the Frogs to pull off a big upset today. Iowa State leads the Big 12 in scoring, averaging over 80 points per game, however, the Frogs lead the Big 12 in scoring defense, allowing about 57 points per game. The TCU defense will have to come to play yet again and the offense must hit shots and limit turnovers.
