TCU women go cold, falter at Texas Tech | Fort Worth Star Telegram

Kelsi Baker scored 17 points, helping Texas Tech to a 52-37 victory over TCU in Big 12 women’s basketball on Sunday.

The victory snapped a 20-game conference losing streak by the Red Raiders.

It was the Big 12 opener for both teams.

TCU struggled on offense, falling behind 21-13 in the first half. The Frogs were equally cold both halves, hitting 26.1 percent of their shots in the first half and 27.6 in the second.

Shooting woes plagued the TCU women's basketball team in a 52-37 loss to Texas Tech in the Big 12 Conference opener on Sunday afternoon at United Supermarkets Arena.

The Horned Frogs saw their four-game win streak snapped to drop to 8-4 overall, while the Red Raiders improved to 11-2 on the season.
